IPS‑6501 is a UV flatbed inkjet printer built around a Ricoh G5 printhead, designed for high‑quality CMYK printing on a wide range of flat materials.
Printhead and quality
Uses an industrial Ricoh G5 printhead, with selectable droplet sizes (for example 35PL/50PL, 12PL/35PL, 7PL) to balance fine detail and ink laydown.
Supports up to 600 dpi class resolution with CMYK UV inks, enabling sharp text, graphics, and barcodes on rigid and semi‑rigid substrates.
Flexibility and scalability
The platform is offered with 1–6 printheads, so users can scale from a single‑head configuration to multi‑head setups for higher speed or wider print width.
Can print text, graphics, time/date, serial numbers, and over 40 types of barcodes (including Code‑128, UPC, Code 39, QR codes), which is useful for both decoration and variable data coding.
Mechanical and application design
Flatbed UV design allows printing directly on corrugated board and other flat materials, reducing the need for labels or pre‑printed boxes.
